My general research interests are in trauma, gender, religion, US militarism, and the body in organizations. I am a Feminist Organization Studies scholar and my approach is interdisciplinary My graduate degrees are in both theology and management.
Dissertation, I am developing new theory called Postsecularism. The case study I am looking at in my dissertation will involve the US army chaplaincy and their impact on militarism, organization culture, and identity construction in a Post 9-11 context.
I am an Associate Editor the the journal Gender, Work, and Organization. My latest publication is entitled "From Military Sexual Trauma to Organization-Trauma: Practicing Poetics of Testimony" which appeared in the journal Culture and Organization.
